Yep. I also recently became aware that not writing also makes me a neat-freak. (In reality I’m messy but easily overwhelmed by a cluttered environment and so have chosen to live with few things.) But when I don’t write, I try to control my exterior world because I’m not dealing with my inner world. Crazy making.

Not writing affects me physically and psychologically. I get anxious, tense.
